Deacons at South Run are ministers, they meet needs and they take care of duties that if unmet would hinder the Body of Christ. Every family in the church is assigned a deacon. The deacons regularly contact the families to stay informed and in touch, so they can respond as needed. Deacons also plan activities for their family groupings. Dinners, game nights; whatever it takes to generate belonging and affection.
South Run Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor to direct our vibrant children, youth and college student ministries with special emphasis on Discipleship and Worship.
