Worship at South Run is Holy Spirit led and heartfelt. You can feel the energy of God. Everybody is a part of worship as worshippers encounter God in powerful, life-changing ways. The words to scripture and songs are projected to increase participation. God calls us together before Him to give to Him and to receive from Him. God's Spirit is alive, fresh and relevant and so is worship at South Run.
Children are important in worship at South Run; we offer a children's sermon and children's church each Sunday. Children help begin the worship service each week by lighting the altar candles. Nursery is provided during worship.Youth serve on the worship team. Worship at South Run is a family event.
Although corporate worship is vital, worship does not start or end in the church on Sunday morning. Sunday morning worship inspires individuals and families to worship God with their lives each day. Romans 12:1-2 I urge you, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.
